G.D. Goenka Public school Gorakhpur organized an ice cream day on 14-7-17. What a day it was! Ice cream is a summer time favorite for people of all ages.
Students were very happy to see ice cream parlor prepared by teachers for them to give surprise. This celebration was only for pre primary wing. School organized a special summer treat and provided ice cream to them. They were very excited during the event. They ate ice cream and enjoyed their favorite tastes.
To freeze these precious moments pictures were taken with nice photo frame.
Students also present so many things like flavour of ice cream, taste of ice cream and they also told how ice cream is good for health.

Keeping the festive spirit alive, Dussehra was celebrated on 6th October at GDGPS Gkp. Various activities including speeches on Dussehra & Ramleela glorified the occasion. To mark Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana and to reinforce the message that good always triumphs over evil, the effigy of Ravana was burnt. Principal Dr. Ms. Jaishree Bhargava blessed the students while inspiring them to follow the path of truth.
Goenkans celebrated Gandhi Jayanti & Shastri Jayanti in school, on 2nd October 2016, with great zeal, enthusiasm and patriotism.The assembly for the pre-primary section began with garlanding their pictures by the Principal. Children were given an account of how he led our nation in the fight for freedom and sacrificed his life for social equality. Students of have spoken some lines on Mahatma Gandhi & Lal Bahadur Shastri. A wonderful dance performance on Raghupati Raghav Rajaram & group singing on Vaishnav Jan Bhajan was done. Our little Goenkans presented a skit on Gandhi Ji.
GDGPS Gkp celebrated International Day for Peace on September 28. Our Goenkans performed on a song, elaborated the word ‘peace’. At last exciting craft activities were done. Students made Gandhi ji’s charkha and symbol of peace along with Shashtriji’s plough & gun.
